Every Rental Includes Required Insurance
Primeway delivers every vehicle with the legally required insurance coverage in effect for the duration of your rental. Each vehicle is covered by its own private full-coverage insurance policy, not a third-party rental insurance product. There is no optional ‘extra insurance’ upsell to buy, because none exists.
Your Security Deposit
Passport or Residency ID
Held for the duration of your rental. This is the default option for new customers.
Refundable Cash Deposit
Starting from $200, exact amount depending on the vehicle. Available to returning, trusted clients only.
How the Deductible Works
Every rental agreement sets a specific damage deductible starting from $400, depending on the vehicle you rent. The deductible only applies when the vehicle’s private full-coverage insurance is actually used, for critical or severe damage.
- You are never on the hook for repair costs beyond the deductible, as long as you have not violated the terms of the agreement
- If the other party in an accident is found responsible and Primeway recovers the deductible from them, that amount is refunded to you
- You are not authorized to arrange or pay for repairs yourself. Any repair work must go through Primeway
If You Are in an Accident or the Vehicle Is Stolen
- Notify Primeway immediately
- Notify the Policia Nacional immediately, file a police report, and provide a copy to Primeway along with the vehicle
What Voids Coverage
Abandoning the vehicle anywhere, under any circumstances, voids insurance coverage entirely. If something goes wrong, contact us. Do not walk away from the vehicle.
Early Return and Cancellation Policy
If you return the vehicle before the agreed date, you forfeit 80% of the remaining contract amount for unused days. If you cancel before pickup entirely, 30% of your reservation deposit is refunded and 70% is forfeited.
